Welcome to
the webpage for the BioSecure Research Project Workshop
The BioSecure Network of Excellence (NoE) works though integrating
multidisciplinary research efforts to address a range of challenging issues
in the field of biometrics.
A number of events related to Biosecure activities will take place in Vigo on September, 13-15 in Vigo. These events are:
- BioSecure workshop on Joint Executed
Research Projects, (September, 13 and 15) View program
- BioSecure workshop on Biometrical
Research Agenda, (September, 15)View program

- BioSecure Annual Review, (September, 14) View program
- BioSecure General Assembly, (September, 15) View program

BioSecure has implemented the Joint Executed Research Projects as a
tool for further integration of research among BioSecure members.
Fifteen projects are under progress:

This workshop will be an opportunity for BioSecure researchs to show how the
research is being conducted, and the expected results.
Additionally, the BioSecure Network of Excellence together with the European
Biometrics Forum (EBF) will convene the ‘BioSecure Research Agenda on
Biometrics’ with sessions on the BioSecure Research Agenda for
Biometrical Research, Systems and Applications. These sessions will address
specific topics in two dedicated working groups: Human Factors and
Coordinated Actions. An overaching session with all workshop participants is
planned on Friday, 15.
This workshop will be held on Vigo (Spain) on 13-15 September 2006 organized
by the Signal
Processing Group (GTS) of the University of Vigo.
The workshop venue is "Centro Social Caixanova" located in the
center of the town.
